TIJUANA THINGS TO DO:

There are a couple of places around to spend a day before you get back your passport.
  1. Starbucks : The Starbucks shown in the above map is a huge one with terrific ambiance and lot of comfortable seats. One could easily sip on a coffee/latte/frappo and spend a couple of hours there.
  2. Plaza Rio Tijuana : This is pretty good size mall indicated by a blue pin in the upper left hand corner on the above map. This mall has lot of food joints, pizza places, buffets, subway, big brand names like Sears and a cinema theatre too. The place is super lively in the evenings.
Its very safe around the US Consulate and not recommended to go further away from the consulate. But for the adventurous types or people who might have to stay longer, you can surf the Tijuana Tourism websites below and find things to do.
